Solvang Giant Gingerbread House Ingredients

275 lbs. of gingerbread dough
175 lbs. of powdered sugar
1 gallon of egg whites
Decorations to taste

Instructions:

Mix carefully, bake tenderly and assemble with good cheer!

Approximately 8-feet by 11-feet by 10-feet tall. Adjust recipe to fit your special space!

Solvang Julefest Background

For its annual month-long Julefest (Yule-fest) Celebration, “California’s Denmark” transforms into a Northern European-style Christmas village. Solvang streets are illuminated with thousands of twinkle lights, carolers emerge around corners to enhance the authentic scene and dozens of special performances and open houses are being held.
