Buckle up for a time-traveling adventure as a Barris Family owned original TV Batmobile, a true automotive legend originally designed in 1966 by the legendary George Barris, gears up to lead a string of classic vintage cars through the streets of Buellton, Solvang, and Santa Ynez . Organized by the Santa Ynez Chamber, Discover Buellton, Los Olivos Chamber, and Solvang Chamber in conjunction with the Antique Automobile Club of America’s Western Divisional Tour, this wonderous spectacle will take place on Monday, September 25th beginning at 10 am.

Dedicated to “sharing smiles”, in addition to some unique and rare tour cars visiting from throughout the U.S., antique gems owned by locals are also invited to join the parade route as it passes by business communities, schools and senior communities, including Solvang School, Atterdag Village and Rona Barrett’s Golden Inn and Village. 

The Parade route concludes at the Santa Ynez Carriage Museum at 3596 Sagunto Street at 12 PM in a festive “free-to-the-public” event where the public will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with the Batmobile and other magnificent vehicles. While George Barris passed in 2015, his daughter, Joji Barris will be on hand to provide first-hand insights into the history and unique perspective of her father's legacy in automotive design.   Gourmet Box Lunches are available to purchase in advance for this lunchtime event for $25 by visiting this link.
