Welcome! Standing Sun Wines are handcrafted in small lots from some of Santa Ynez Valley's premiere vineyards. The fruit is sourced as vineyard specific varieties, each with its own characteristics and diversity. The resulting wines are pure and unmanipulated, in the true sense of wine making. Our philosophy is simple... Take a great vineyard, pick great fruit, and simply make great juice. Standing Sun has meeting space for private events! Vendors: Standing Sun Wines works with a list of approved vendors to create dynamic successful events catered to the individual client's needs.; As a service to our clientele, we provide you with vendor management ; actual billing (+20%) to ensure that all elements of your event are managed with finesse. Music/Performance: The Client may choose to play a personal playlist with the use of an iPod or iPad through the Tasting Room's PA system. Standing Sun has full back line, stage, lights and sound system to accommodate solo acoustic to full rock bands. All outside performers must be approved by Standing Sun Wines. Details: We will work with you and an approved list of vendors to create a personalized seamless event. Our space holds up to 100 guests. Our unique rolling floor plan can be arranged to meet the custom needs of each and every client. Tasting Room Rental Fees: Start at $500. A deposit of 50% is required at time of booking. Wine Minimum: Standing Sun Wines requests that all private events adhere to $10/person wine minimum. Insurance: Standing Sun Wines requires a Commercial and General Liability Certificate of Insurance covering the date of the event in the amount of $1,000,000. This may be obtained through the clients private insurance company, and must be received two weeks prior to the event.The Tasting Room rental fees include the services of the Events Coordinator in addition to one tasting room employee on the day of the event. For every 25 people in attendance, one additional employee must be present at $20/hr. Decorations: All outside decorations must be approved by Standing Sun Wines.
