From Santa Barbara US-101 N. Take the STATE ST exit toward CA-154/CACHUMA LAKE. Turn LEFT onto STATE ST. Turn RIGHT onto SAN MARCOS PASS RD / CA-154. Travel 24 miles, then turn LEFT onto CA-246/Solvang. Travel three miles to Solvang.
From Santa Maria US-101 S. Travel 19 miles south. Take the Solvang Exit/CA 246, turn left. Travel three miles to Solvang.

Located within California's Central Coast in northern Santa Barbara County, Solvang is just 35 miles (56 km) from oceanfront Santa Barbara, 125 miles (201 km) up the coast from Los Angeles and 300 miles (483 km) south of San Francisco. The region is easily accessible via US Highway 101 (north to Santa Maria and San Francisco and south to Santa Barbara and Los Angeles) as well as State Highway 154 (north-south to/from Santa Barbara) and State Highway 246 (east-west to/from Buellton/Solvang/Santa Ynez). Parking is FREE everywhere throughout Solvang including RVs and tour buses. Amtrak offers daily connecting Amtrak Thruway Motor Coach service to downtown Solvang (bus stop at 1630 Mission Drive) from Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo. Five miles from downtown Solvang, Santa Ynez Airport (IZA) is a publicly owned facility for private aircraft with general aviation services. Full-service general aviation, corporate and public facilities are at Santa Barbara Municipal Airport (SBA) 30 miles south with more than 70 commercial flights daily.
